ABOUT THE DECORATIONS:
The soutache decorations have been digitized from the original antique cape and simplified in some areas to make them easier to apply, while still maintaining their complexity and elaborate character. The original had overlapping cords in certain sections that would be very difficult to reproduce identically. Reference photos of the original decorations are included in the tutoria and in the blog post.
